Zbabělec kraje  Každý ho považoval za zbabělce kraje on se jedinkrát nezastavil aby dokázal že se celý kraj mýlí. Jeho máma ho pojmenovala Tomy lidé mu prostě říkali zbabělče ale něco mi vždycky říkalo že si ho přečetli špatně. Byl jen deset let starý když jeho otec zemřel ve vězení postaral jsem se o Tomyho protože to byl syn mého bratra. Stále si připomínám konečná slova která řekl můj bratr Tomy Synu můj život končí ale tvůj teprve začíná. Slib mi synu, že neuděláš věci které jsem udělal já. Odejdi od problémů pokud můžeš. To neznamená že jsi slaboch když nastavíš druhou tvář. Doufám že jsi dost starý aby jsi to pochopil. Synu nemusíš bojovat aby jsi byl mužem. Pro každého je někdo druhý uTomyho láskou byla Beky. V jejích rukách nemusel dokazovat že je muž. Jednoho dne když pracoval přišli poflakovači a obrátili se na Beky byli tři. Lucie V baru v Toledu naproti skladišti na barové židličce sundala si prsten. Myslel jsem si, že půjdu blíž tak jsem sešel dolů posadil se a zeptal se jak se jmenuje. Velké ruce byly mozolnaté, vypadal jako hora. A na minutu jsem si myslel že jsem mrtvý. Měl sem špatné časy žil během dobrých časů. Ale tentokrát se zranění od Tebe nezahojí. NEJLEPŠÍ Malý chlapec v baseballové čepici,stojí na hřišti s jeho míčem a pálkou. Říká "Já jsem ten nejlepší hráč ze všech." dá si pálku na rameno a vyhodí nahoru jeho míč. A míč letí nahoru a míč letí dolů máchne pálkou kolem dokola a svět je tak potichu že můžete slyšet ten zvuk a míč padá...na zem. A míč letí nahoru tak jasný jako měsíc máchne pálkou celou svou silou A svět je tak tichý jak tichý může být a míč padne a je to třikrát.  už je večer a máma ho volá malý chlapec začíná doma se svou pálkou a míčem. Říká "Já jsem ten nejlepší a to je pravda ale ani já jsem nevěděl že můžu takhle nadhazovat!" Říká "Já jsem ten nejlepší to je chápán ale ani já jsem nevěděl že můžu házet tak dobře!"
