THE GREATEST Little boy in baseball hat,stands in the field with his ball and bat. Says "I´m the greatest player of them all" put his bat on his shoulder and he tosses up his ball. And the ball goes up and the ball comes down swing his bat all the way around. The world so still you can hear the sound and the baseball falls...to the ground. Now the little boy didn´t say a word picks up his ball he is undeterred. Says "I´m the greatest there has ever been" and he grits his teeth and he tries it again. And the ball goes up and the ball comes down swings his bat all the way around. The world so still you can hear the sound and the baseball falls...to the ground. He makes no excuses,he shows no fear he just closes his eyes and listens to the cheers. Little boy he adjusts his hat picks up his ball stares at the bat. Says "I´m the greatest,the game is on the line" and he gives his all one last time. And the ball goes up like a moon so bright swings his bat with all his might. The world´s as still,as still can be the baseball falls and that´s strikes three. Now it´s suppertime and his momma calls, little boy starts home with his bat and ball. Says "I´m the greates that is a fact but even I didn´t know I could pitch like that!" Says "I´m the greatets that is understood but even I didn´t know I could pitch that good!"

NEJLEPŠÍ Malý chlapec v baseballové čepici,stojí na hřišti s jeho míčem a pálkou. Říká "Já jsem ten nejlepší hráč ze všech." dá si pálku na rameno a vyhodí nahoru jeho míč. A míč letí nahoru a míč letí dolů máchne pálkou kolem dokola a svět je tak potichu že můžete slyšet ten zvuk a míč padá...na zem. Nyní ten malý chlapec neřekl ani slovo zvedl svůj míč a  je nerozhodný.. Říká "Já jsem ten nejlepší který kdy byl" zaskřípe zuby a zkouší to znovu. A míč letí nahoru a míč letí dolů máchne pálkou kolem dokola a svět je tak potichu že můžete slyšet ten zvuk a míč padá... na zem. Nevymlouvá se,neukazuje žádný strach jen zavře oči a poslouchá jásání. Malý chlapec si urovná čepici zvedne svůj míč a zírá na svou pálku Říká "já jsem ten nejlepší,hra je rozehraná" a naposledy ze sebe vydá vše. A míč letí nahoru tak jasný jako měsíc máchne pálkou celou svou silou A svět je tak tichý jak tichý může být a míč padne a je to třikrát.  už je večer a máma ho volá malý chlapec začíná doma se svou pálkou a míčem. Říká "Já jsem ten nejlepší a to je pravda ale ani já jsem nevěděl že můžu takhle nadhazovat!" Říká "Já jsem ten nejlepší to je chápán ale ani já jsem nevěděl že můžu házet tak dobře!"
